Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Record and update inventory transactions accurately in the store records and system.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling and organization of materials within the warehouse store.
- Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about low‑stock items and replenishment requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, damaged items and pending orders.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory audits.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a trading company.
- Good understanding of inventory control and stock management procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure when required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
