Store Buyer​/Receiver

Role Overview

Join our hospitality team as a Store Buyer / Receiver
, where you will be responsible for purchasing, receiving, and managing inventory to support the hotel's daily operations. You will ensure that goods are received on time, meet quality standards, and are accurately recorded while maintaining compliance with hotel policies and food safety requirements.

• Purchase quality goods and materials at the best available price.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Process purchase requests and follow up on orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock when required.
• Receive and inspect goods to ensure they match purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Report and resolve any quantity, quality, or price discrepancies.
• Return damaged or incorrect items to suppliers.
• Update receiving records and inventory in the system.
• Prepare daily receiving reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver received goods.
• Keep the receiving and storage areas clean and organized.
• Ensure all food deliveries comply with Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
• Perform stock counts and assist with inventory control.
  
  Carry out other duties assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor.

• Previous experience in Purchasing, Receiving, Stores, or Inventory Control in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and stock.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
