Are you passionate, motivated, and ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities? Bridging Independent Living Together, Inc. (BILT, Inc.) is looking for self‑initiating team members who share our mission of providing quality, personalized services to individuals in their homes and communities.
We are a non‑profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with varying disabilities, serving ages 3–65. Our work ranges from teaching employment skills and community outings to providing respite care and mentorship. We operate Monday–Sunday, with shifts between 9am–7pm.
Who We're Looking ForWe seek experienced, passionate candidates eager to contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): personal care, hygiene, household maintenance, food shopping, meal preparation, budgeting, and social skills development.
- Provide ongoing support, role‑modeling, and guidance to improve personal responsibility, community living, and socialization.
- Facilitate leisure activities and encourage engagement in social and recreational activities.
- Transport individuals to appointments, work, and recreational outings.
- Document daily notes on program participants' progress and changes.
- Attend review meetings, trainings, and other related appointments as required.
- Other duties as required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive clients; clean driving record; mileage reimbursement provided.
- Ability to pass a CORI check.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and to stand or walk for hours.
- Comfortable driving clients to and from locations as needed.
