Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Trainer to join our successful gym. As a Personal Trainer, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness.

Responsibilities
  • Be a fitness leader in the community. Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs.
  • Train 5-15 camps per week, adhering to the Protocol provided by HQ. Use the HQ Portal as a guide to program workouts specific to our gym/community.
  • Lead and motivate clients throughout intense training sessions.
  • Build and maintain a highly engaged member base.
  • Assist training larger camps as Lead 2 during promotional periods or large camp times.
  • Work with the training team to facilitate events and kids camps.
  • Ensure safety of participants regarding exercise technique and modify exercises to accommodate skill levels.
  • Attend all trainer meetings or schedule meetings with the Lead Trainer/Training Manager if unable to attend.
  • After 90 days, complete and document 1 Blue Carpet Trainer Checklist per month (paid at current camp rate).
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the training and burn ambassador team through the Feedback Loop.
  • Use social media to engage members and promote the brand, including highlighting camps/members, Facebook live videos, promotional and educational posts (at least one post per shift).
  • Convert promotional clients and free trials into members, working with the Studio Manager and Burn Ambassadors to enhance the client experience.
  • Maintain a high level of social media presence and understanding.
  • Conduct Focus Meetings with at least 10% of active members, aiming to reach 80% of members individually in collaboration with the training staff.
  • Hold weekly touchpoints with the training team to align on protocols, programming, and client feedback.
  • Organize gym equipment and keep the gym tidy after camps.
  • Promptly report facility and equipment issues to the Lead Trainer.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification.
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
