Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Sharonville, Ohio. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional with hands-on Workday Payroll experience and multi-state payroll processing experience. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll for hourly and salaried employees, maintaining payroll records, reconciling payroll data, ensuring tax compliance, and providing support to employees and management regarding payroll-related questions.

This is an immediate opening, and qualified candidates must be available to start as soon as possible, pending successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

• Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Utilize Workday Payroll to manage payroll processing and employee compensation information.
• Process payroll for employees across multiple states and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Review and reconcile timekeeping and attendance records to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Verify employee information, new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, and tax with holdings.
• Process garnishments, child support, vacation and sick accruals, and other payroll deductions.
• Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies before payroll submission.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee files.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and compensation.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll compliance requirements.
• Monitor payroll tax updates and assist with tax agency inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Perform additional payroll and administrative duties as assigned.

• 2-5 years of payroll processing experience required.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience is required.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll is required.
• Experience processing both hourly and salaried payroll.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Canadian payroll experience.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
• Basic accounting experience.
• Workday configuration or implementation experience.
• Experience supporting payroll in both union and non-union environments.

• Onsite position in Sharonville, Ohio.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• $38.46 per hour.
• Immediate start available for qualified candidates.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Potential for temp-to-hire consideration; however, permanent employment is not guaranteed.
• Candidates should expect to work through the staffing agency for at least 3-6 months before any decision regarding a possible long-term or temp-to-hire opportunity.
