We are seeking an AI and Data Leader to drive innovation and operational excellence through artificial intelligence and data strategy. This is a player/coach role—you will both lead and execute. Your mission is to identify, evaluate, and implement AI opportunities that transform how we work, starting with empowering our sales team and quickly expanding to manufacturing and finance.

You will also define and implement a data engineering strategy and establish data governance practices that ensure scalability, security, and trust in our data assets. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI and data at our company and make a measurable impact across multiple business functions.
** Key Responsibilities
**** AI Strategy & Implementation*** + Identify high-impact AI use cases across sales, manufacturing, and finance.  + Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and scale successful solutions into production.  + Partner with business leaders to embed AI into workflows and decision-making.
** Data Engineering & Governance*** + Develop and execute a data engineering roadmap to support AI initiatives.  + Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.  + Drive integration of disparate data sources into a unified, accessible architecture.
** Community Building & Collaboration*** + Create and lead a
** community of practice
** for generative AI users across the organization.  + Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to accelerate adoption and innovation.  + Identify common AI use cases across departments and drive synergies for efficiency and scalability.
** Leadership & Growth*** + Act as a thought leader and coach for AI and data best practices across the organization.  + Build and mentor a small team as the function grows.  + Collaborate with IT, sales, operations, and finance to align AI and data initiatives with business goals.
** Qualifications
* ** Proven experience in AI/ML implementation and data engineering strategy.
* Strong understanding of data governance, architecture, and analytics platforms.
* Hands-on technical skills with AI tools, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
