• Draft legal documents, formal discovery requests, formal discovery responses, notices, interrogatories, motions, memoranda, deposition summaries, medical record summaries, and letters.
• Proofreading, Review, and Editing.
• The responsible attorney must proofread, review, and/or edit the work produced by other staff members to the extent required so that no staff member practices law without a license.
• Prepare for, and attend, hearings and depositions.
• Personal Injury, Social Security, and Workers’ Compensation
• Understand, summarize, and utilize medical records
• Personal Injury:
  Preparation for trial. The attorney must be trial ready, and know how to create exhibit binders, trial notebooks, deposition summaries, motions in limine, and other documents necessary to conduct a trial to a jury or to the bench.
• Attorneys must also be able to prepare for, and to conduct, voir dire, opening statements, direct and cross examination, and closing arguments.
• Social Security and Workers’ Compensation Only:
  Preparation for Final Hearings and Final Briefings.
• The attorney must be able to conduct a final hearing in which testimony is elicited from one or more witnesses and must be able to draft and submit any required briefings related to those hearing.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Barred in the State of KY or OH.
• 3-5+ years of experience practicing law, preferably private.
• Case exposure to personal injury, social security, workers comp, or property law preferred.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
• Comfortable working onsite and appearing in court for litigation matters.

Logistics:

Salary Range will vary based on level of experience (80-120K+ rough range).

Bonus eligibility - will share more during interview process!
