Treatment Advocate:
Hamilton County

Compensation: $43,500 to $44,500 annually, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.

Flexible scheduling. Office hours: 9 AM - 5 PM. Requires at least one evening availability per week. Ability to accommodate client schedules.

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a dedicated Treatment Advocate to support diverse client populations across Hamilton County, providing comprehensive support and case management services.

Responsibilities
  • Support clients across various populations, including children and adults
  • Provide step-down support from intensive treatment programs
  • Reinforce therapeutic strategies and coping skills
  • Conduct monthly medication compliance appointments
  • Verify medication effectiveness and report any concerns to healthcare providers
  • Perform comprehensive case management
  • Connect clients with community resources and additional support services
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and progress
Client Population
  • Children and adults with diverse mental health needs
  • Clients transitioning from intensive treatment programs
  • Individuals requiring ongoing support and resource coordination
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years’ experience working directly with youth and families is preferred.
  • Works well independently and as a team member
  • Openness to traveling as needed.
  • Working, reliable telephone.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Good driving record
  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
