Automotive Mechanic

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable Automotive Repair Company to find their next Journeyman Automotive Mechanic. This position is based in Redding, CA.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable mechanic with strong diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

$25 – $50 per hour, depending on experience

• Minimum 5 years of automotive mechanic experience
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform repairs independently and efficiently
• Experience with a wide range of makes and models
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards

Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brake jobs, alignments, and inspections

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and engine issues

Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers when needed

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Document all work performed in an accurate and timely manner

Stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques
