O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable civil engineering firm to find their next Civil CAD Drafter – AutoCAD Civil 3D. This position is based in a professional civil engineering office environment and is a short-term, full-time assignment.
The ideal Civil CAD Drafter – AutoCAD Civil 3D is detail-oriented, experienced, and able to step in quickly to support ongoing civil projects during a peak workload period.
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour (DOE)
- Schedule:
Temporary, full-time - Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
- Hours:
Monday – Friday, standard business hours - Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Assist with grading, alignments, profiles, and surface modeling
- Draft site plans, utility layouts, and construction documents
- Accurately incorporate redlines and engineering markups
- Maintain drafting standards and ensure drawing consistency
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines
- Proven experience as a Civil CAD Drafter within a civil engineering environment
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
- Experience with civil site development, grading, and utility drawings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Prior experience in a fast-paced or deadline-driven setting preferred
