Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner; NP – Valley, Northern California

We are seeking an enthusiastic, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established hospital medicine program as a Nocturnist in California’s Central Valley. As part of The Hospitalists of Modesto Medical Group, you will provide inpatient care across a dynamic network of three hospitals:

• Doctors Medical Center, Modesto (Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center)
• Emanuel Medical Center, Turlock
• Doctors Hospital of Manteca, Manteca

These facilities offer a market-wide, collaborative hospitalist model with robust subspecialty support.

• Primary responsibilities include cross coverage of admitted inpatients and assisting with new nighttime admissions.
• Collaborate closely with hospitalist physicians and APP colleagues on the night team.
• We are expanding our team to increase advanced practice provider coverage at Doctors Hospital of Manteca and Emanuel Medical Center, with opportunities to focus on admissions and receive cross‑training for potential ICU coverage.

• Current licensure as an NP in California (required)
• Prior inpatient or hospital medicine experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates will be considered

• Night Coverage: 1–2 physicians and 1 NP/PA per shift
