Class A CDL Delivery Driver Trainee – $7500 Sign On Bonus

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year

$65,000+ first year; trained drivers average $75,000. Monday to Friday early morning starts. Local routes, no nights, no weekends. $7,500 hiring bonus with a valid CDL

• Successfully complete the Entry‑Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride‑with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post‑trip) and inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and necessary repairs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safe‑driving guidelines.
• Confirm proper loading and securing of freight; verify counts and invoices; complete required paperwork.
• Drive, unload, and deliver items to customers, obtain signatures, and collect payments when applicable.
• Manage returned goods and maintain trailer cleanliness.
• Record hours of service accurately in the log.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, dock area, and trailers.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Capability to hand‑lift and operate lifting equipment with loads ranging from 10–35 lb up to 90 lb.
• Internal candidates: 1 year of service in good standing, able to attain CDL permit and DOT Health Card.
