Costing Analyst – Hybrid Role (Shawnee, KS) Join Our Finance Team and Make an Impact!

PBI Corporation is seeking a Costing Analyst to support our Strategic Costing Manager and play a key role in maintaining accurate cost data and driving financial insights that shape our business decisions.

This is a Monday–Friday hybrid position
, offering the flexibility to work both onsite at our Shawnee, KS headquarters and remotely.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and update standard costs for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in our ERP system.
• Analyze material usage variances, purchase price variances, and production variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with detailed cost inputs and assumptions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Production teams to understand cost drivers.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and documentation of costing procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience
  : 1–3 years in accounting or finance, ideally with exposure to cost accounting or manufacturing.
• Skills
  :
  Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), familiarity with ERP systems, and strong analytical abilities.

We offer a company‑paid $50,000 life insurance policy with AD&D. You also have the opportunity to purchase additional life and AD&D insurance for yourself, your spouse and/or your dependent children. The cost for this coverage is based on the amount you elect and your age.

Short‑ and Long‑term Disability

Our company‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability plans provide income replacement in the event you are not able to work due to illness or injury. Short‑term disability will provide 70% income replacement up to $1,350 per week and long‑term disability will provide 60% income replacement up to $5,000 per month.

EAP services are company paid to benefit all employee‑owners and their families. EAP provides up to six free counseling sessions to help you and your family members manage life stressors, solve personal or relationship concerns, and achieve your goals.
