This role involves working predominantly night shifts in a fast‑paced environment, caring for patients requiring close monitoring of cardiac rhythms and complex medication administration.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality nursing care to telemetry patients, including post‑procedure management involving TR Bands
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem
- Participate in initiation processes for Tikosyn and Sotalol therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care planning and delivery
- Float to various acute care units as clinical needs arise
- Adhere to facility protocols and utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Attend a structured orientation combining in‑person and virtual training sessions to ensure smooth integration into the team
- Current Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience; 2–5 years preferred
- Experience with cardiac procedures and telemetry monitoring systems
- Familiarity with cardiac medication administration and emergency cardiac protocols

Additional Details- Contract assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks

- Paid orientation at main campus and Olathe site ensures comprehensive preparation
- Ability to float enhances clinical versatility and experience
