The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of enterprise infrastructure systems that enable reliable business operations. This role administers server, network, storage, and operating system environments while supporting system performance, security, availability, and disaster recovery processes. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates with infrastructure, database, and application teams to maintain stable and secure technology environments, troubleshoot issues, implement system enhancements, and ensure adherence to operational best practices across Windows, Linux, networking, storage, and enterprise platform technologies.

IT Systems Administrator Overview The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of enterprise infrastructure systems that enable reliable business operations. This role administers server, network, storage, and operating system environments while supporting system performance, security, availability, and disaster recovery processes. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates with infrastructure, database, and application teams to maintain stable and secure technology environments, troubleshoot issues, implement system enhancements, and ensure adherence to operational best practices across Windows, Linux, networking, storage, and enterprise platform technologies.

Responsibilities Administer patch management for servers and end point devices, configure and administer daily backups

Conduct performance reporting to support capacity and Advanced Active Directory and email management

Complete basic Windows or Linux administration tasks, including patching, configuration of server roles and features, and installation of software package
