YOUR DAY AS A CLAIMS SERVICE ASSOCIATEIn this full-time role, you'll review and set up new medical and lost time claims, determine liability and coverage, and investigate claim details to make informed decisions. You'll pay or deny claims, assist team members, claimants and insureds, and provide exceptional customer service, all while ensuring accuracy and fairness.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A CLAIMS SERVICE ASSOCIATE- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work Comp experience
- 1+ years of customer service and claims experience; experience with analyzing claims and making sound decisions
- Knowledgeable of insurance claims process, medical terminology, and mathematical principles
- Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures;
Ability to operate office equipment - Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism;
Knowledge of general office practices - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
Insurance‑related courses are a plus!
