- Leadestimatingstrategywithafocusonmarketexpansionandmarginoptimizationtosupportcompanygrowthfrom $50
Mto $100M. - Cultivateandstrengthenrelationshipswithclients,general contractors,designpartners,andtradeallies.
- Mentor,inspire,anddemandexcellencefromtheteamwhilefosteringintegrity,empathy,and accountability.
- Championinnovationthroughnewtools,data-driven insights,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
- Collaboratewiththeestimationteamonhigh-valueprojectpursuitsandstrategicgrowthinitiatives.
- Providetechnicalguidanceandtrainingtodeveloparobust,multi-facetedestimatingteam.
- Represent Temp-Conatindustryevents,trade shows,andpeergroupstoexpandvisibilityandinfluence.
- Ensure accurate,timely,andcompetitiveestimateswithconsistentbid-hitratiosthatsupportgrowthtargets.
The Lead Estimatorwillserveasbothastrategicleaderandculture -builder,settingthetoneforintegrity,collaboration,and excellence.
Thisrolerequiressomeonewiththecouragetodemandhighstandards,theempathytobuildloyaltyandtrust,andthevisiontoscaleahigh-growth company.
Successwillbemeasurednotonlybyaccurateestimatesandhitratios,butalsobytheteam’sabilitytoattractnewopportunities,developstrongerpartnerships,andconsistentlywinmajorprojectsthatfuel
Temp-Con’slong-termexpansion.
- 8–10yearsofmechanicalcontractingexperience,withdeepknowledgeofestimatingsystems,laborfactors,andcostanalysis.
- Strongpresentationandnegotiationskillswiththeabilitytoinfluenceexecutive-level decisions.
- Atleast2yearsina Lead Estimatorroleorhigher .
- Experienceestimatingprojectslargerthan $10million,includingHVACSheetmetal,Hydronic Piping,and Plumbing.
- Bachelor’sdegreeorequivalentindustryexperience,withproficiencyin
Microsoft
Officeandestimatingplatforms. - Proventrackrecordofcontributingtorevenuegrowthinamechanicalorplumbingcontractingenvironment.
- Demonstratedabilitytoleadthroughinfluence,integrity,and accountability,inspiringhighperformanceinbothindividualsandteams.
- Strongexternalpresenceintheconstructionindustry(networking,industry groups,tradeassociations,client development).
- Strategicthinkerwithbusinessacumen—abletoalignestimatingdecisionswithlong-termcompanygrowth.
- EstablishedrelationshipswithregionalGCs,developers,andowners.
- Experience with Saa Sestimatingplatforms ,Bluebeam,Autodesk Construction Cloud ,and advanced
Excel(includingmacros). - Experience with Fast Ductand /orFastPipe;
PowerBIskillsaplus. - FieldexperienceinHVACand/or plumbing;
Master’slicenseinmechanicaland/orplumbingtrade. - Demonstratedsuccessinfosteringacultureofcontinuousimprovementandhighperformance.
Thisroleisprimarilyoffice-based,withsometravelrequiredasbusinessneedsdictate.
The Lead Estimatormustbeavisibleleader ,mentor,andcollaboratoracrossdepartments,committedtobuildingacultureofexcellencewhiledrivinglong-term growth.
