A Truck Assembler is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Performing all necessary assembly routines before and after trucks and trailers are painted
• Installing pre-fabricated parts on trucks and trailers
• Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures
• Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly procedures
• Installing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on tanker trucks and trailers
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong mechanical background or experience
• Understanding of 12V electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read 1/8", 1/16", gradations on tape measure
• Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa
• Familiarity with FCAW welding
