The Cardiology Advanced Practitioner will work closely with cardiologists to provide high‑quality care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role offers a collaborative environment with strong support and no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on patient care and professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience:
Prior experience managing cardiology patients as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Education:
Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program - Certification: PA-C or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certified
- Licensure:
Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in the State of Oklahoma
- Primarily outpatient cardiology clinic with inpatient consult rounding
- Anticipated schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Clinic
Location:
Connected to the hospital for seamless patient care - Patient volume:
- 20+ patients per day in clinic
- 10–12 inpatient consults per day once fully onboarded
- Additional Duties:
Some Nuclear Medicine supervision for studies - Referral Base:
Large primary‑care network serving 7 towns in the greater Shawnee area - Support Staff:
Full office support including MA/LPN and office assistant
