Distinctive Design Studio is seeking entry-level and mid-level Architectural Drafters to support the development of high-quality architectural drawings and plan sets for residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for detail-oriented, motivated individuals who want to grow within a collaborative design environment.

• Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using CAD/BIM software and company standards for both residential and commercial projects
• Draft floor plans, elevations, details, etc. that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details with minimal errors
• Conduct research to ascertain applicable codes and standards, materials, and specifications as a basis for preparing drawings and contract documents
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously under limited supervision
• Conduct self-quality checks on project documentation and drawings
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Work with the design team to ensure project milestones are met
• Make site trips to assist with the scope of work required for the project
• Attend and assist with client, consultant, or contractor meetings

• Proficient with drafting software, such as Revit
• An understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes and methods
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Mathematical aptitude and high attention to detail
• Strong desire to learn and be an integral part of a team environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with minimal oversight
• Great analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

• Secondary degree or certificate from an architectural program or a related field
• 0-3 years experience
