Associate Production Scientist - 12 Hr Night Shift

Position at Millipore Sigma – responsible for supporting manufacturing processes on a 12‑hour night shift with compliance to quality standards.

• Perform operations to meet quality expectations throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct routine assays, processes, and/or unit operations.
• Support laboratory functions such as maintaining equipment, preparing reagents, restocking supplies, and waste disposal.
• Maintain complete and accurate records in line with quality guidelines; participate in quality audits.
• Ensure all applicable logbooks are fully completed.
• Improve processes by applying scientific knowledge, experience, and principles while complying with change‑control procedures; identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with training.
• Work in both large‑scale process environments and glass‑lab environments.

  12‑hour night shift, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 2/2/3 schedule.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another Life Science/Engineering discipline.
• OR high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in chemical production, laboratory, or chemical engineering role.

• Proficient chemistry and math skills.
• Experience with chemical production at the glassware scale.
• Experience with laboratory instruments and production equipment.
• Experience in an independent chemistry research lab or industrial setting.
• Experience with process techniques and unit operations.
• Experience with analytical techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with safe chemical handling methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

$5,000 Sign‑On Bonus if Hired.

Pay Range: $27 /hr – $46 /hr. The actual compensation is based on location, experience, education, skills, and other factors. The role may be eligible for sales or performance‑based bonuses.
