This diverse Manufacturing Operator 2 role focuses on the safe and efficient manufacturing of products used by customers to manufacture advanced semiconductors and life science products. You will manufacture materials using existing production procedures and maintain safety and quality in the work environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Produce, purify and package chemical compounds to meet customer requirements
• Stage materials utilizing warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and Powered Industrial Trucks
• Verify the quality and integrity of materials and equipment
• Perform in-process analytical testing including workups and simple interpretations as described in the Master Production Record
• Update batch records, computer systems and SAP per ISO procedures
• Demonstrate proper lab, manufacturing and packaging safety practices in accordance with OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT and other regulatory guidelines
• Maintain a high level of safety with proactive safety culture
• Participate in core operational excellence programs including Daily Management System, 6S organization and safety walks
• Participate in team-based objectives focused on improving safety, quality and production output
• Engage in personal and professional development through development objectives

• 12-hour night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM - 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat) with ~12 hours OT per pay period
• 12-hour day shift, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM - 2/2/3 schedule (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat) with ~12 hours OT per pay period
• 2nd shift - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Mon - Fri

• Wear safety gear including helmet, respirator, safety shoes, chemical protective suit and gloves, safety glasses and goggles
• Work in occasional wet, humid or hot/cold environments
• Stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, twist or crouch for extended periods
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Work with hazardous chemicals
• Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

• Prior industrial work experience or chemical handling
• Understand chemical reactions and hazards
• Understand ISO and quality systems
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Read and understand written protocols
• Detail oriented and excellent multitasking ability
• Strong problem solving and equipment troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay Range for this position: $21/hour - $37/hour. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
