Machine Operator – Georgia‑Pacific

Georgia‑Pacific is looking for a motivated Machine Operator with a passion for safety to join our team in Sheboygan, WI.

• $22.50‑$25.00 per hour
• Shift differential: $3/hour while working on 2nd or 3rd shift!

• 1st shift: 6 am‑2 pm
• 2nd shift: 2 pm‑10 pm
• 3rd shift: 10 pm‑6 am (Sunday start)
• Shift availability: must be flexible and available to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

• Operate the line with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, waste, and quality standards.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Consistently seek improvements to reduce waste and increase production.
• Drive safety excellence through promotion of employee involvement, ownership, and accountability.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Work closely with machine operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventive maintenance and cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Prep orders by ensuring materials and components are ready for use.
• Assist in setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery per procedures.
• Provide training, direction, and support to team members.
• Understand key metrics and production goals.

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or completion of post‑high‑school education in manufacturing/industrial.
• Previous experience operating production machinery.

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, military, or industrial environment.
