Performs varied mechanical, basic electrical, and basic control and instrument maintenance activities and other duties necessary to maintain the generation facility to which they are assigned.

• Perform mechanical, basic electrical, and basic instrument and control troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, cleaning, inspecting, and constructing equipment and systems for the generation facility.
• Operate and/or obtain information from various mechanical and electrical devices used to support specific equipment diagnostics or work activities; gather, interpret, and log data.
• Be proficient with machine tools and various hand‑powered tools as job needs dictate.
• Operate mobile and heavy equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Perform various welding activities.
• Support safety, plant reliability, productivity, and plant efficiency improvements by participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform all work according to established procedures and safety practices.
• Perform generating plant and shop area housekeeping functions.
• Perform other duties which are similar, related, or incidental to this position.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Journey level in the mechanical trade.

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems.
• Well developed skills in machining.
• Knowledge of theory and skill in welding.
• Knowledge of company safety rules.
• High degree of mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Strong leadership ability.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

$54.01 – $56.22 per hour.
