Order Processor

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for verification of product quality, workmanship, and other factors above standard quality. Provides feedback to Line Leaders and Assistant Reviewer of discrepancies and makes recommendations for corrections.

• Enter data into AX system.
• Unload meat trucks at multiple locations.
• Verify incoming materials.
• Assist the shipping department with the movement of finished packaged goods to customers/consumers.
• Pick orders, load/unload trucks, rotate product, and participate in inventory counting.
• Cross‑trained in all areas of Shipping and Receiving; work in Receiving as needed.
• Basic computer knowledge in MS Office products and AS/400.
• Work in Warehouse Management System, including an RF gun used to track inventory levels.
• Overtime may be frequent during peak production periods.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Take responsibility of work area to produce a safe and quality food product.
• Report all food safety related problems to manager and the QA department for immediate action.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of GMPs, HACCP and SQF guidelines.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, percent, interpret bar graphs.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AS/400.
• Certified forklift operator; ability to use other industrial equipment as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL preferred).
• No supervisory responsibility.

• Stand/walk 8–9 hours per day.
• Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Perform bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Work in temperatures of 40 °F or less.
• Work overtime during peak production periods.
