Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled RN or LPN Supervisor to support resident care, oversee daily operations, and lead our Direct Care Professionals (DCPs) across two assisted‑living homes. This role blends hands‑on nursing oversight with team leadership, healthcare coordination, compliance, and home‑environment management. If you excel at balancing clinical judgment with operational follow‑through, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a daily impact.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident health, complete assessments, update care plans, and communicate changes promptly.
- Coordinate medical appointments, referrals, transportation, and follow‑up instructions.
- Oversee medication systems, including MAR/eMAR review, inventory, ordering, and error response.
- Lead DCP onboarding, hands‑on training, competency checks, and refresher education.
- Support scheduling, timecard review, staff coverage, and performance observations.
- Maintain menus, complete grocery orders, and ensure safe food storage and meal readiness.
- Oversee cleanliness, safety, organization, and daily home routines across both homes.
- Review documentation for accuracy; maintain logs, records, and compliance materials.
- Serve as on‑site supervisor weekdays and every fourth weekend; provide clear handoffs to leadership.
- Communicate effectively with residents, guardians, staff, providers, and the Executive Director.
Requirements
- Active Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN or LPN) license preferred.
- AFH or CBRF Administrator course completion.
- Resident care planning.
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
- Experience in assisted living, CBRF, or long‑term care preferred.
- Skilled in coaching, training, and supporting caregiving staff.
- Strong organization, follow‑through, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable with electronic documentation systems (ECP preferred).
- Ability to work autonomously.
