Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector's role is to maintain the Vollrath Standard Quality with Supplier Products and control Service Parts Inventories.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform reworks, FQA’s and Warranty returns inspections. Inspect all items on PINS for accuracy.
  • Report to SQE/Engineering any items that are out of spec.
  • Maintain open communications between internal/external customers.
  • Support Vollrath satellite facilities as a resource when needed.
  • Photograph and record spare parts to assist with CSR/TSR documentation.
  • Perform FQA’s for items received on PINS to get them received to stock.
  • Keep up with receiving Service Parts, Incoming PO’s, Quality Inspections, Medical Equipment and Containment Requests.

Qualifications
  • Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical School or College Degree. Computer skills. JDE, KIKS, KRONOS, Word, Excel.
  • Be able to communicate well with others.
  • Be self‑motivated.
  • Be able to start an assignment and follow it through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge on the use of electrical testing equipment, set‑up of test stands for all types of inspections. Read and prove owner’s manuals are correct and up to date.
  • Work safely to avoid injury and/or damage to equipment.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
