Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser Floater, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be between $13-$15.00 depending on skills and experience.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the week.
• Average weekly hours: 10‑12.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, possibly including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Use Hallmark’s mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required merchandising surveys.
• Holiday support:
  During peak periods such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours, including weekends.
• Department resets:
  Assist with installations, relocations of card departments, and resetting card sections. You’ll receive notice two weeks in advance and may work evenings or weekends.
• Team support:
  Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting other merchandisers as needed.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job requiring push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and occasionally climb stairs or step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operate a digital handheld device.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
• Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores.
