DescriptionPosition Summary
The Maintenance Technician II performs routine industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. The role supports equipment installations, follows preventive maintenance schedules, and documents work orders. This position also helps maintain parts inventory and contributes to overall facility safety and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in the maintenance system.
- Assist with equipment moves, installations, and upgrades to support production needs.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and help develop/update related work instructions.
- Support equipment improvement projects, including basic ROI input and equipment recommendations when requested.
- Work with contractors and skilled trades on assigned projects.
- Conduct basic safety checks, participate in safety training, and follow all safety procedures.
- Maintain parts inventory by tracking usage and reporting needs.
- Help keep the maintenance shop organized, clean, and functional.
- Participate in facility upkeep, general repairs, and grounds-related tasks as needed.
- Assist on special projects such as installing air systems, upgrading machinery, or supporting equipment rebuilds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5-7 years of experience in the industrial electrical/mechanical field.
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read work instructions, follow procedures, and document completed work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new equipment and systems.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
