Volunteer English Conversation Club Facilitator & Mentor

Remote (Canada or United States)

Commitment: 1 hour per week (4 hours per month)

We are looking for a native English speaker to join our team as a Volunteer English Conversation Club Facilitator & Mentor.

This fully remote role focuses on creating a safe, motivating, and inclusive online space where participants can practice spoken English through dynamic and interactive activities.

You will facilitate weekly online conversation sessions designed to build confidence, encourage participation, and adapt to different language levels.

• Facilitate online English conversation workshops (1 hour per week)
• Lead guided discussions, role‑playing activities, and real‑life scenarios
• Create a welcoming, supportive, and non‑judgmental virtual environment
• Adapt activities to different proficiency levels (beginner to intermediate)
• Encourage confidence, expression, and active participation
• Act as a mentor, supporting participants in their language learning journey

• Native or fully fluent English speaker
• Must be based in Canada or the United States
• Able to understand French (spoken comprehension required)
• Experience in teaching, facilitation, mentoring, or community work is an asset
• Reliable, warm, and culturally sensitive

• Meaningful involvement in a community‑based initiative
