The Bilingual Insurance Broker In Training role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shediac, NB. In this role, the individual will learn to advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage, assist with quotes, process applications, and support policy changes under the guidance of experienced brokers. Day-to-day tasks include gathering client information, reviewing coverage options, preparing documentation, and following up on inquiries.

The role also involves coordinating with insurance carriers, supporting claims processes, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a positive client experience. As training progresses, the individual will develop the skills needed to manage a portfolio of clients and provide proactive insurance solutions.

• Ability to learn and apply insurance concepts across personal, commercial, and specialty lines, with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with clients and colleagues.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client requests, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with technology, including insurance software, CRM systems, and standard office applications such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly beneficial for serving a diverse client base in New Brunswick.
• Customer service mindset, professionalism, and a high level of integrity when handling sensitive client information and financial matters.
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is an asset; willingness to pursue relevant insurance licensing and professional development is expected.
• Ability to work on-site in Shediac, NB, collaborate within a team environment, and adapt to evolving client needs and industry requirements.
