About The Role
We are looking for a Learning and Skills Coach to provide 1‑2‑1 and small group support to students in English, maths, study skills and digital skills. The role is part of a collaborative team of coaches across the College, and involves planning engaging sessions and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Hours per week: 18.5
Salary per year: £15,055
- Deliver individualized and group sessions in literacy, numeracy, study and digital skills.
- Plan and deliver engaging, innovative learning experiences.
- Assess, track and report on student progress to plan interventions.
- Work collaboratively with the coaching team to share best practice and support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and student development.
- Passion for supporting student learning and development.
- Highly organised, creative with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to assess and monitor student progress.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to various roles within the programme.
- Generous annual leave – 27 days FTE per annum plus 3 days after 5 years.
