We are looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 English and Maths tuition to a Year 11 student in Sheerness.
The student has a complex SEN profile, including communication and language difficulties, cognition and learning needs, and SEMH needs. He can experience anxiety and frustration around learning, so we are looking for someone who is patient, calm, consistent and excellent at building rapport.
The ideal tutor will:- Have experience working with SEN/EHCP students.
- Be confident delivering English and Maths at an appropriately differentiated level.
- Be experienced with SEMH, ASD/social communication and language needs.
- Build positive relationships and confidence through 1:1 support.
- Use clear, structured and engaging teaching approaches.
- Be reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
The student enjoys football, music, computers, art, photography, outdoor activities and motorbikes, providing great opportunities to make learning engaging and relevant.
