Chemical Operator

Location: Sheerness

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate safely and professionally, adhering to company management systems (ISO
    9001, ISO
    14001, Health & Safety).
  • Use and maintain personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Perform filling and blending of liquid and dry materials to specific formulations.
  • Fill liquid products into various packages and bulk tankers following detailed instructions.
  • Receive and unload bulk deliveries, ensuring quality checks are completed.
  • Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely.
  • Conduct basic product testing (incoming, in‑process, outgoing).
  • Maintain operational and storage areas in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Label packages accurately and ensure traceability of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Support goods‑in and loading operations as required.
  • Complete all paperwork and process information professionally.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and equipment issues promptly.
Candidate Requirements
  • Good general education.
  • Certified forklift truck licence.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a production or works environment.
  • Previous experience working to a quality system.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in all weather conditions.
