Job Title
Software Engineer, Internal Systems
Senior: 4+ years experience
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Data Science infrastructure team. You will design and extend scalable SaaS solutions that handle real-time data ingestion, processing, and analysis. You will build secure microservices that support data querying, reporting, data lake management, and enterprise application integration. You will also contribute to integrating analytics pipelines, data quality governance, and automating Dev Ops, enforcing best practices in code quality and design patterns.
You will build and maintain internal SaaS solutions, leveraging Python, Go, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git Hub, and Terraform. You will also be responsible for data platform performance monitoring and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Key responsibilities
- Data ingestion and transformation, handling pipelines and data quality assurance, ensuring the data delivery is reliable and meets the needs of internal teams.
- Building API endpoints and downstream data exposure layers for analytics teams.
- Automate data processing workflows, using infra as code, tools and scripting to support efficient updates.
- Smart metadata management, auditing, and lineage to serve self service and minimize knowledge debt.
- Integration across sources: ensuring our data platform remains a single source of truth for our business intelligence.
- Monitoring and alerting for abnormal data events, patterns, and metrics.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for new operational data services.
- Design and engineering of SaaS solutions for data services for internal teams and partners.
- Continual improvement to architecture and support for scalability and performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and other teams.
