The Manager, Financial Planning & Treasury at Sheffield Metals will be a strategic driver of insight, performance, and growth across the organization. In this in-office role, you’ll be the go-to partner connecting financial strategy with operational execution—collaborating with leaders across departments and locations to guide smart, data-driven decisions. You’ll lead core FP&A and treasury functions, manage banking and audit compliance, and own the annual budgeting process while delivering key reports to our private equity partner.

Beyond the numbers, you’ll take on high-impact projects including system implementations, inventory costing enhancements, and acquisition integrations. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical, proactive professional who thrives on solving complex challenges, building relationships, and influencing strategic outcomes through exceptional financial insight and communication.

Job Duties
  • FP&A & Reporting:
    Analyze monthly results, KPIs, and variances to deliver insights to senior leadership.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Support annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with operations, sales, and corporate leaders.
  • Treasury & Compliance:
    Manage cash forecasting, liquidity, and bank compliance reporting; monitor weekly cash flow for working capital efficiency.
  • Board & Audit Support:
    Prepare board materials, dashboards, and audit deliverables in partnership with private equity and external auditors.
  • Acquisition Integration:
    Lead financial process, systems, and reporting integration for new acquisitions.
  • Systems & Process Improvement:
    Drive ERP, BI, and reporting tool enhancements; improve inventory costing and controls.
  • Tax & Ad Hoc Analysis:
    Oversee tax compliance coordination and execute strategic analyses or special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Experience:

    5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or public accounting (manufacturing/metals preferred).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Advanced Excel & PowerPoint;
    Net Suite and Power BI experience a plus.
  • Analytical Ability:
    Strong data analysis and modeling capability.
  • Collaboration:

    Proven success working cross-functionally in fast-paced, multi-location environments.
