Part Time Assistant Accountant

My client a leading e-commerce business with offices based in the London Borough of Islington are seeking a Part Time Assistant Accountant

Through extensive use of smart technology and data my client, with offices in the London Borough of Islington are at the forefront of e-commerce. They partner with global brands to give a leading consumer experience.

As Part Time Assistant Accountant reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

• Reconcile statements to ensure accuracy and timely receipt.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including journals and ledgers.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring invoices and payments are collected on schedule.
• Prepare aged debtor reports and escalate issues, as necessary.
• Prepare accurate VAT returns.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to partnership revenues.

The most desirable Part Time Assistant Accountant applicant will have:

• Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping and credit control, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.

• Proficiency in accounting software preferably Xero as well as MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with external partners.
