Qualified Accountant

About the Role

We are recruiting a qualified accountant to join a successful, independent accountancy practice in the heart of Bristol. This role is offered on a full–time or part–time basis, initially as a 12–month maternity cover. A permanent opportunity may be considered for the right individual.

• Preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Working collaboratively with Managers to deliver accounts for Partner review
• Managing your workload independently while maintaining high–quality output
• Applying strong technical knowledge with minimal supervision
• Contributing positively to a growing firm with a proactive, can–do approach

• Prepare statutory accounts for a wide range of clients in line with FRS 102
• Ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently and to agreed deadlines
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional and approachable communication
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within processes
• Uphold the firm s commitment to exceptional client service

• ACA or ACCA qualified (minimum 2 years post–qualified experience)
• Proven experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly FRS 102
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office; experience of Digita and/or Xero preferred
• Professional, approachable manner with a proactive and adaptable mindset
