Assistant Management Accountant

CMA is currently recruiting for our client, a successful and well-known organization based in Poole or Ferndown, Dorset. An experienced Assistant Management Accountant is required to join their fast-paced finance function on a temporary basis initially. This position requires an immediate start.

Our client is offering an excellent salary range of £16.41 - £18.97 per hour with hybrid working and flexible hours.

Reporting into the Management Accountant, this is a diverse role where you will play a crucial part in producing management accounts within this large and growing organization.

• Assisting in the production of management accounts;
• Assisting in the preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis as required;
• Investigating monthly variances across all cost centres;
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for all activities;
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end process.

• Experience working as an Assistant Management Accountant with accounts analysis;
• Knowledge of budgets and forecasting is highly beneficial;
• Proficient in various accounting packages and Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables;
• Aiming to progress and develop practical experience alongside AAT/CIMA/ACCA or similar accounting qualifications.
