Financial Accountant

My client is seeking a dependable, experienced Financial Accountant to provide additional support for a period of 6 months. The role will involve assisting with a variety of financial reporting responsibilities to help the team navigate a particularly busy period.

Business with an exciting product, based in East Kent

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the drafting of statutory accounts and consolidated accounts.
• Prepare regulatory returns
• Submit actuals and forecasts into the group consolidation system
• Post IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 journals and assist in technical accounting across the function
• Provide ad‑hoc support with month‑end management accounting tasks
• Support junior members of the team where needed

My client is looking for an experienced and trusted contractor that is happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved in a variety of ad‑hoc tasks. You should be Fully Qualified and have the ability to start this role ASAP, and be comfortable with committing to 6 month Contract.

• Up to £70,000 dependent on experience
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
