Interim Group FC

Interim Group Financial Controller 6 Month Contract £80-90k Sheffield Hybrid working Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a great client based in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join them on an interim basis for an initial 6-month period. This is a key role supporting the Group through year-end, with a strong focus on statutory reporting, consolidations, audit and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities Lead the Group year-end close and statutory reporting process across multiple entities. Own the preparation and review of consolidated Group statutory accounts. Manage Group consolidations, including intercompany balances and adjustments. Lead the external audit process and manage relationships with auditors. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and Group accounting policies. Prepare and review technical accounting papers for complex areas.

Own balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and financial controls. Drive improvements across reporting, year-end and control processes. Provide technical accounting support to the wider finance team. Key Skills & Experience Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Strong technical accounting and Group reporting background. Significant experience across statutory accounts, consolidations and year-end. Strong UK GAAP / IFRS knowledge. Experience leading external audits within a complex, multi-entity environment.

Strong financial controls and balance sheet experience.
