The Directorate of Gastroenterology is seeking to recruit an Administrative clerical officer for the GRaDE care Group at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come and join our team in the out patient department at the Northern General Hospital.
The successful candidate will need to be an excellent team player and able to work using their own initiative. We are looking to appoint a motivated individual who must have excellent communication and organisational skills.
This dynamic and interesting role will involve working within our existing multidisciplinary supportive team, providing essential day to day administrative service for Gastroenterology out patients.

Person specification Education and Qualification- GCSE at Grade C in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications) or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level II in Business Administration / Customer Service / IT
- Knowledge of / experience of using information and/or customer service systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Previous experience Infoflex / 59R Software
- Previous experience of PAS / Infoflex / Systm One (area specific software)
- Experience of working within an office environment
- Experience of working in a public facing role
- Relevant experience within the NHS
- Understanding of data protection issues and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to deal with staff at all levels.
