Hours:
20 Hours per week (Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.00am to 2.00pm)
About Ibk:
Ibk are seeking to recruit a Data Entry Administrator to join our busy payroll team in Sheffield.
Ibk are a small not for profit organisation, supporting individuals and families with additional needs and disabilities. Our offices are centrally based with parking on site.
Our team is made up of dedicated, passionate and caring people who strive to put the people they work with, at the heart of everything they do.
Purpose of the Job:
As an Administrator within our payroll team, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to our clients. You will collaborate closely with the team to ensure that client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial although not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge & Experience
Required:
- Performing a wide range of administrative duties in a busy office environment
- Working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Engaging confidently in internal and external written and telephone communications
- Inputting large volumes of data onto systems including Brightpay, Xero, Excel
- Administering a payroll scheme for multiple employers
- Maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets when handling volumes of data
Skills & Behaviour
Required:
- Excellent communication, data entry and numerical skills
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Quick learner, with the ability to use own initiative and to understand the context in which Ibk operates
- Ability to follow instructions, problem solve and identify anomalies within data
- Confident when handling and prioritising multiple tasks to meet all deadlines whilst working under pressure
- IT literacy including confidence to work with data management systems;
Xero, Brightpay, Microsoft Office packages (365) including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe, Internet and Diary software to an intermediate level - Calm and empathetic approach to dealing with challenging situations, retaining a positive outlook
- Working collaboratively as part of a small team – treating colleagues fairly, kindly and with respect
- Desire to share knowledge of ways of working to promote continual improvement
- Ability to work flexibly in order to adapt and respond to the needs of the families supported by the organisation
- Understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality and discretion
- Willing to continuously develop and participate in training where required
This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and 2 satisfactory references.
