We are a small GPPractice based in S2 and we have approximately 5000 patients.
We are looking fora flexible and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our friendly team.
This will be for 21 hours per week, plus sickness and holiday cover, with the flexibility to covershifts between Monday - Friday 8-630pm when required.
Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant should have excellent customer service skills and be flexible to covertheir share of holiday and sickness when required.
General Practice experience and / or NHS expereince is essential.
The hours required are Monday , Tuesday 10-630 and Thursday pm.
The post is subjectto the receipt of satisfactory references and DBS check.

You will be joiningan existing Reception team consisting of four Receptionists.
Job responsibilitiesSummary of Role
To provide a high standard Reception Service to the Patients, including ensuring that enquiriesare promptly, efficiently, and courteously handled.
Reception Duties
Be responsible forthe opening and closing of the premises in the morning and evenings, including setting the alarm system, with the other members of staff.
Monitor Reception and Waiting Room areas, including making patients aware of late runningsurgeries.
Acknowledge and arrange Patient appointments.
Liaise with GPs and Practice staff regarding patient issues.
Liaise with Hospitalsre patient blood results/queries etc
Update computer andmanual records, as necessary
Open, stamp and distribute the Internal Post by scanning onto Systm One
Provide cover forother Reception staff when necessary.
Other duties withinthe scope of the role as may be agreed from time to time.
Person Specification Qualifications- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Previous experience in working in a GP Practice / NHS setting.
- Knowledge of Systm One - clinical system
