Mainduties of the job
Successful candidates will be confident IT users, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel. You will have strong organisation and communication skills which will help you provide the best support possible to the team you work within and SHPU as a whole. Job responsibilitiesEach bank role is different so there is always opportunity to learn something new! But generally, as a Bank Administrator your duties will require you to provide admin support to a team/service i.e. data entry, typing, managing emails and diaries, answering telephone queries. You will be expected to communicate effectively with your colleagues, service users and anyone else you come into contact with in your role (i.e. members of the public/external organisations).
PersonSpecification
Knowledge & Skills
- High standard of data input/word-processing skills
- Knowledge and experience of office systems
- Excellent organisational skills, works efficiently and uses initiative
- Ability to develop and maintain networking associations with a broad range of people
Training & Qualifications
- High level typing accuracy skills i.e. RSA/OCR II Typing/Text Processing or equivalent
- Good level of general education including GCSE maths and English or equivalent
Experience
- Relevant experience within an administrative service/dept
- Experience of managing diary/appointment systems
- Experience of dealing with complex enquiries
- Experience of dealing with sensitive information
