Billing Administrator

Sheffield | £26,000 | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

We're recruiting for a Billing Administrator to join a busy and supportive team in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone with administration or billing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a professional services business.

The role offers a mix of billing, finance administration and stakeholder liaison, making it ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working with different teams across the business.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and processing invoices and credit notes
  • Supporting the end-to-end billing process
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time
  • Preparing draft invoices and following up for approvals
  • Maintaining billing records, trackers and internal systems
  • Sending invoices to clients and managing invoice documentation
  • Responding to invoice queries and providing support to clients and colleagues
  • Supporting contract and project administration processes
  • Assisting with additional finance and administrative duties as required
About You

We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and industries. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous finance administration or billing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
  • The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • A proactive and positive approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
