An established secondary school in Sheffield is looking to appoint an organised and professional Administrator/Receptionist to join its administration team. You'll provide an efficient reception service while supporting the daily running of the school office.
What You'll Be Responsible ForManaging the reception desk and welcoming visitors.
Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
Updating pupil information and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting attendance administration and communications with families.
Preparing correspondence, spreadsheets and general office documents.
Assisting with admissions, transfers and pupil leaver records.
Coordinating appointments and providing support for meetings.
Following school policies on confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding.
About YouYou'll be a confident communicator with good attention to detail and a calm, professional approach. Previous administration or reception experience is essential; experience working in a school would be a strong advantage.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, are important. Knowledge of SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be useful, although training may be available for the right candidate.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
