Salary
: OTE up to £52,480 (Uncapped); £28,000 to £43,000 basic depending on qualifications, plus a £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time‑Saved Bonus Scheme
Hours
: 40 hours per week Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, plus one Saturday morning every three weeks.
- Carry out pre‑delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
- Conduct checks in line with manufacturers’ guidelines.
- Fit any additional accessories requested by the customer.
- Perform vehicle health checks and report further work required.
- Inspect lights, tyre pressure, mechanical and electrical components.
- Complete minor repairs on new and used vehicles.
- Carry out basic diagnosis in both mechanical and electrical work.
- Perform vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines and customer requests.
- Execute additional repairs once authorised by the customer.
- Carry out warranty repairs per manufacturers’ guidelines and complete relevant write‑up.
- Take the customer’s vehicle on a road test to confirm all faults are rectified.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand) and a full, valid UK driving licence.
- Self‑motivated, team‑supportive, ambitious and eager to learn.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards for all vehicles served.
- Previous brand experience desirable; not essential as brand accreditation training will be provided.
- Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience desirable but not essential.
