Part Time - Vehicle Damage Assessor - ARC

Competitive plus bonus

Working days: 3 8‑hour days – Thursdays & Fridays; 3rd day flexible, preference to be Mondays.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our busy, manufacturer‑approved dealer Bodyshop in Sheffield. This is a key role within the business, ensuring accurate assessments, efficient repairs, and excellent customer satisfaction.

• Accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing repair estimates
• Using Audatex / GT Estimate (or similar) to produce cost‑effective repair methods
• Liaising with technicians, parts departments, insurers, and customers
• Monitoring repair progress and authorising additional work where required
  
  Ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
• Supporting the smooth workflow of the bodyshop and meeting KPI targets

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
• ATA qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Strong knowledge of body shop repair methods and procedures
• Experience working within a dealer or approved repairer environment
• Confident using estimating systems (Audatex experience highly desirable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Attention to detail with a customer‑focused approach
