As a Senior Consultant You’ll Be- A passionate business analysis practitioner who has significant experience in more than just process modelling and requirements engineering; you can draw upon your know-how to get stuff done for our clients in a pragmatic and impactful way.
- Experienced in business analysis in different contexts from small improvement initiatives, through to user-centred product-led delivery, and ‘big-system’ transformation across an entire organisation.
- A relationship builder who can foster long-term relationships with clients to build Herd’s brand as a trusted partner whilst embracing ‘non-consultancy vibes’.

- Accountability for all aspects of business analysis delivery within a specific project, product, or programme; escalate issues outside your remit and propose solutions.
- Largely a billable consulting role, independently supporting blended client teams or as part of a wider Herd team engagement.
- Lead engagements with customers through all stages, and work independently, making decisions and gaining consensus on actions.
- May join engagements early (exploration or discovery) or later in the delivery lifecycle.
- Engage in wider professional communities and share experiences internally and externally (blogs, podcasts, events).
- May write or contribute to case studies, articles, to promote capabilities and services.
- Contribute to sales activities for bids, tenders, pre-sales work, and Statements of Work.
- In the future, may be asked to task or line-manage mid-level and junior BAs, supporting their growth and development and managing performance.
- Support hiring activities, including CV screening, assessment development, and interview panels.
- As a small but growing scale-up, be willing to get involved where needed.
- You’ll enjoy getting things done and driving tangible outcomes.
- You’ll work collaboratively with people at all levels and can influence where needed.
- You’ll synthesize complex messages and communicate clearly and effectively.
